I have been active my whole life by doing every activity under the sun - from tennis to horseback riding, snowboarding to cross-country running. You name it, I’ve probably tried it. Upon graduating college, I landed a cubicle job at The University of Pittsburgh, learning quickly, I did not like sitting at a desk all day. Not to mention those college friends had since moved away so I had to accept going to the gym alone. I joined the local YMCA, and the only class I could attend after work was an indoor cycle class. Every time I took the class, I thought, “this instructor doesn’t pair the class to the music very well - I could do this better than him.” So I took a certification course for Indoor Cycle, and that started my journey in the Health/Fitness world. Within a year, I was teaching 7 cycle classes per week, gained certifications with Les Mills and was teaching an additional 5-6 group fitness classes every week, both before and after work. I was having FUN and making a positive impact on others. I went back to school earning a Master's in Exercise Science and ACSM Exercise Physiologist certification in 2019. I have since been working as a personal trainer while maintaining a role in the corporate world as an Enterprise Account Manager in the Logistics world. These experiences have given me the confidence and skill sets to open LPM Fitness. What motivates me the most are the people I meet - those who face hardships but show up for themselves and others while also finding a way to smile through any challenge.
