Personal Trainer (CPT-ISSA)
I have always been active throughout my life whether it was playing sports or starting my own training while in high school and it has always been the one constant in my life. After graduating from college I thought I was supposed to join the corporate world and sit at a desk like the rest of my peers. I quickly found out that this was not ideal for me. I was constantly thinking about how/when I would fit my workout into my schedule and was always prioritizing it over my work. I realized that exercise was the most fulfilling thing in my life and I wanted to share that experience with others.
My background as a Psychology major plays perfectly into my training style because training is not solely physical but is mental as well. I know in my own workouts that even if I do the same movements each week I might feel better or worse depending on my mood and I make sure to stay aware of how it is affecting me. So with my clients, I know each session may be more or less challenging for the both of us. I am constantly asking questions to make sure my clients get the exact session that they need for that day. Exercising is amazing and the benefits it brings to us physically and mentally can be the best thing for that day. However, it can also be challenging and that's where I come into help. I want my clients to lean on me for help because ultimately that's why I am there. I cannot wait to help you reach your goals and I know we can do so together.
